Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DeployLog platform, including the website at deploylog.dev, the embeddable widget, the CLI tool, the GitHub Action, and the API (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Monolithiq LLC ("we," "us," "our"), a Wyoming limited liability company.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Accounts
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, including API keys. You must notify us immediately at hello@deploylog.dev if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
2. Service Description
DeployLog is a changelog and release notes platform. The Service allows you to create and manage changelog entries, embed a widget on your website to display changelogs to your users, host public changelog pages, collect email subscribers and send email digests, generate AI-powered release notes from commit histories, and automate changelog publishing via CLI and GitHub Actions.
3. Plans and Pricing
The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Pricing for paid plans is published at deploylog.dev and may be updated from time to time. If we change pricing, existing subscribers will be given at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect on their next billing cycle. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or publish through the Service, including changelog entries, project descriptions, and configuration data ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute Your Content solely as necessary to operate the Service — for example, rendering your changelog entries in the widget, on the hosted page, in RSS feeds, and in email digests. We do not claim ownership of Your Content. We do not use Your Content to train AI models.
5. Subscriber Data
When you use the Service's email subscription feature, you are the data controller for the email addresses collected through your project's subscription forms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the subscription feature complies with applicable laws, including but not limited to the CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR, and CASL. We act as a data processor on your behalf and will process subscriber data only as necessary to deliver the Service (sending email digests, managing subscriptions). Every email sent through the Service includes a functional unsubscribe link.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to send spam or unsolicited bulk email through the digest feature; distribute malware, phishing content, or any harmful material through changelog entries or the widget; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data; interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; violate any applicable law or regulation; or impersonate any person or entity.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.
7. API and CLI Usage
API access is provided subject to reasonable rate limits. We may adjust rate limits at any time to ensure service stability. API keys are confidential — do not share them publicly or commit them to public repositories. If an API key is compromised, revoke it immediately through your dashboard and generate a new one.
8. AI-Generated Content
The Service offers optional AI-powered summarization of commit messages and release notes. AI-generated content is provided as a draft for your review. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any AI-generated content before publishing it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated summaries.
9. Availability and Support
We aim to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability, and we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice for planned maintenance. Support is provided via email (hello@deploylog.dev) and GitHub Issues on a reasonable-effort basis. Paid plans may receive prioritized support as described in the plan details.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, features, documentation, and branding, is owned by Monolithiq LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The DeployLog name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of Monolithiq LLC. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to use our trademarks without prior written consent.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Monolithiq LLC, its officers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may terminate by deleting your account through the dashboard. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days following account deletion, after which it will be permanently removed.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Monolithiq LLC regarding the Service.
